It's my last post for my design team term with them.  I decided not to reapply for next term. Some changes coming but I'll share more on that later!
For now, make sure you head over to The Twinery blog to check it out!
Here's a sneak peek!

Like I said, some changes are taking place and I want to share all of that with you shortly.
But I will be honest and let you know, my family from California arrives tomorrow and things are buzzing for the Christmas season but I'm going to try and post when I can!

The Twinery and Market Street Stamps Blog Hop

Welcome! This is such an exciting day as The Twinery teams up with Market Street Stamps for one amazing blog hop! This is the second day of the blog hop so make sure you get to all the stops on the two day hop by visiting The Twinery blog for the full two day list of stops!

If you are following along the hop, you should have arrived from
If not, you'll want to start the hop at
The Twinery blog so you don't miss one thing!

There are two great prizes being given away from both companies but before we get to that, let me share my project with you.

I created a layout for my project.  I love stamps and I know that they are used a lot on cards. I like to use them on layouts and I wanted to show and example of that for my project today.

For my project I used the Vintage Music background stamp from Market Street Stamps.
I stamped the image on kraft cardstock and then cut it in 2x2 squares along with the snowflake patterned paper to create my grid on the layout. The music background was special because this photo is of my daughter and son in law at their wedding. Music is a big part of their lives so it was fitting to use it on the layout of them.  I love the versatility these background stamps give. You can use them full size or cut them down as I've done.

Then, of course, I added some of The Twinery's gorgeous charcoal twine! One of my fav colors!

I also used The Twinery's stone twine to define my grid pattern. I love the color and texture that it added to the layout.
Here a couple more close up shots of that beautiful music background stamp!

Now for what I know you've been waiting for! The prizes!

The Twinery is giving away...

"The Ultimate Color Sampler"

The Twinery and Stamps of Life Blog Hop

Are you ready for some fun?
Design Teams are playing together for this hop!

You should have arrived from Jenny Suchin's blog.  If you just happened to land here, you will want to start at the beginning at The Twinery blog so you don't miss anything.

There are prizes involved so make sure you go all the way to the end of the post for the details.

And now, onto the project!
For my stamp set I used the "Holly 4 Christmas" stamp set from Stamps of Life. I loved the cute string of lights and holly berries. I love the quality of the stamps. I've had several sets from The Stamps of Life and they are wonderful to work with and stamp so well.

I also used The Twinery's Peapod and Maraschino twine.
My favorites for traditional holiday crafts!

I recently placed an order from Hipstamatic for some prints and when I received them, they came in this cool little kraft pocket envelope.

I just thought it was the coolest little envelope so I hung onto it sure that I would find a use for it.  Well I decided to use it for this project. I thought it would be a great card to give a CD in....the size is perfect!

I first opened it up completely, taking care not to tear where it was glued.
Then I traced it on my cardstock.  Since it was longer than my paper I had to do it in two sections.

Then I cut it out, folded it and glued it to match the original package.

Here is my finished project:

I thought it made the perfect CD holder for some holiday music sharing!

This is the final stop on the hop.
I hope you enjoyed the hop with The Twinery and Stamps of Life!
Don't forget the prize details below!

It's a Fall Hop ~ The Twinery and LYB!

Hello and welcome to the hop!
So glad you stopped by. I hope you find some inspiration as well as just have fun!
This is such a fun week with The Twinery as several of the designers team up with Little Yellow Bicycle to share some great projects with you!  I love all LYB lines but this time we were able to play with their "Hello Fall" collection and let me tell you, it is fabulous! As a huge fan of fall, I was blown away by the amount of wonderful pieces and papers that LYB has for your fall pages.

My first project I completed was using LYB's chipboard album and the matching paper pad from the "Hello Fall" collection! This was a brilliant thing that LYB did. The paper pad fits the chipboard album pages perfectly so there's no time consuming trimming or cutting!  Genious!!!

Here is my mini album I made using those items.....

I am so thankful for the blessings in my life and this album was perfecting for
putting some of those blessings down.  You can tell by looking at the album what I
am most thankful for.....my family!

I just love the "10 Things Pocket" on the left page and those pinwheels and flowers are from the
"Paper Flower Kit".....that is a really cool set to have!
There are some great chipboard pieces in the "Chipboard Shapes" set.
And see that bracket at the top of the right hand page?  Um, yeah, that's a canvas border!
Found in the "Canvas Border Stickers" pack! Loved those!

Then, I couldn't resist the urge to complete a layout about my favorite fall drink!
Mmmm, just love the perfect papers and embellishments!

I used the Corrugated Shapes from the collection and just sprayed and splattered some white mist.

This perfect little journaling spot was from the pack of journaling cards.
Just look at how that Honeydew twine blends with the LYB papers!

One of my favorites! Love these little stickers. The larger fall flag was actually pulled from the "10 Things Pocket" pack.  The little "sweet" tag was pulled from the "5 Things Envelope" packs. I didn't use them as they were intended but still worked perfectly for my page!

Now, you know if you follow my blog regularly, I always say I am not a card maker because I typically do not do cards.  But I decided to give it another go with these gorgeous papers!

Totally loving the little owls found in the Fabric Sticker pack and the Canvas Tape!

Aren't these little banners from the Mini Banners set just the cutest!

I hope you've found a bit of fall inspiration here today! Remember this hop will be going on all week so you'll want to be sure to check out The Twinery and Little Yellow Bicycle blogs.

You also have a wonderful opportunity to win prizes
from both companies and it's pretty easy to do.
There are only 3-4 blogs you need to visit each day.
When you do, make sure you leave a comment
and you'll be entered to win.
There are additional ways to have more opportunities
to win, so make sure you check that out on
The Twinery blog.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed your visit!
