ME!!!

This was such a fun project hop to participate in!  Using bakers twine from The Twinery and the stamps from The Stamps of Life, who wouldn't have fun?

My Stamps of Life set used on my project was
Coffee 4 Two

I can't tell you how wonderful these stamps are!  They are such a great quality and stamp so clean and perfect every time!  I loved them!

For my project, I used one of the packages of Starbucks VIA coffees, covered it and made a sleeve that slides over the top.  Makes a nice way to present it as a gift, just to make it a little more special!

I covered the coffee cup sleeve with The Twinery bakers twine!  Isn't is just scrumptious!  I love it all!

Twine Lanterns

I found this cute idea online to make lanterns from string.  I thought the perfect thing to use would be bakers twine.  I loved using The Twinery twine because of the great colors they have to choose from.  I wasn’t sure if the color would show through after it was completed but it sure did!

Head over to The Twinery blog to check out my post!

Love Is In The Air....

Don't you just love Valentine's Day? I love the all the pinks and reds that go along with the special day, the cute little cards and trinkets you can find....just the overall feeling that it brings.

Here's a quick project I wanted to share with you!
(You can click on photos to see them larger)
I created this love banner that you can hang from your mantle, below a picture frame or you can attach it to magnets and put on your fridge like I did! I had so much fun putting it together.

I started with some manila shipping tags and of course, some luscious Maraschino twine from The Twinery!

I pulled out all of my love themed, red and pink embellishments and just started adding them on! This part was the most fun...just going through those little bits and baubles and finding just the right touch. It's also a great way to use up those leftover bits from kits!

And here's some close ups of each tag:
And here's some more of that lovely Maraschino!

It was such a fun project to make! I hope you dig through your fun bits and have as much fun creating your banner as I did!

One Fine October Afternoon

I am part of a wonderful forum at For The Luv of Art. I absolutely love that place! Everyone is so friendly and supportive of each other. They also have fun challenges each week! This week I participated in it and I love the outcome.

The challenge was to create a layout/project using packaging from some supplies you have. Well I had to dig deep because I couldn't find any packaging that I wanted to use. Until I found this sample sheet that came in a pack from October Afternoon.

These squares immediately caught my eye! I decided to use this on my layout.

I cut the squares and placed them in a grid pattern, then stitched them down for my background. I love the OA paper anyway, so getting to use bits of all of them on my layout was extra fun.

And of course, you know how I love Wendy Hammer Designs felt goodies! I added the Banners and Stars to my layout too! I just thought they went perfectly!

I even used the packaging in the title of my layout!

Cardstock: Life Stories Line, My Minds Eye

Patterned Paper: Cherry Hill, October Afternoon (packaging)

Felt Banner and Stars: Wendy Hammer Designs

Alphas: Cherry Hill, October Afternoon; Chipboard Letters, The Paper Studio

Cardstock shapes: Cherry Hill, October Afternoon

Bakers Twine: Pink Sorbet, The Twinery

Other: shipping tag

I aslo used the Pink Sorbet twine from The Twinery to make a little pom for my title tag. I simply wound the twine around two of my fingers, tied it off in the middle and snipped the loops!

I love the Pink Sorbet! I think it's one of my favorite colors!
But if you can't decide, then I suggest grabbing this 15 yard Sampler Pack from The Twinery! You'll get eight delicious colors....one for every project you can think of!
Did I say absolutely love bakers twine?

Have a happy Friday and a great weekend!
