Well, all work and no play makes for a long day! (I think I made that up or something). So I decided we needed to have a fun day with the girls! I called a Scrap Day! The weather cooperated by raining and being overcast and cold!

Cindy even got in the action. I told her she didn't need to feel pressured to become a "paper-sniffer"! She could just sit and sip cocoa and visit with us but she said no, she really did want to do something. So she dove right in!

Then we took a lunch break and enjoyed a tri-tip sandwich.
Then back to fun we went!

And you can't scrapbook without some chocolate to go along with your coffee!

It was fun to just share some time together and have a relaxing day!
That was fun! I am sooooo needing some more! :-) It's like therapy for me...That's probably why I was so quiet, cuz I need alot of it lately! LOL. We need to do it again SOON!

Wait for us!!! you can't call an emergency scrap day w/o us...T, Shine, and mom. one day we will be able to just fly when we want to...I think I need a cup of hot chocolate or a cup of coffee from Travis to finish looking at this post...I'm so excited Cindy..Ang used to just sit and watch...now look at her...you're in girl...Courtnee you have an emergency scrap day when you visit, get hooked and then when you come home you can come to my house and we'll have a scrap day and then do a post about it...

Yes T, we thought we'd break Cindy in slow! Not sure if she could handle us in our jammies, yet! LOL. We did have fun but definitely missed you guys. That would have made it the absolute best it could have been!
ReplyDeleteI miss those late night scrap parties we used to have at the scrapbook store. No one here scrapbooks! This small town is so far behind, they are still putting their photos in in those albums with the sticky pages covered in plastic.

Wow! Love this post! Makes me feel like I was with you ... looking at paper and wanting a bite of that juicy sandwich. Hmmm, do I want a Hershey kiss or the little chocolate bar? Can I have BOTH, Sheri? Gotta smile with that "smoking gun" pic, too.
