Project 365 Update!

I thought it was time to give a quick update on my Project 365. I have to say this has been a lot harder than I thought it would be. It has stretched me to take a look at things in my everyday life in a broader way. It makes me notice some of the smaller everyday things that I probably wouldn't notice otherwise.

I know Valentines Day was on Saturday but I took this for my Friday photo because I waited up so late on Friday night for Ashley to go to bed. I wanted to decorate her bathroom to surprise her in the morning. I stayed up until 2 am (that girl would not go to bed!) just so I could get it done. I also hung pink and white streamers from the top of her bedroom and bathroom doors all the way to the floor. That was fun. Yes, she is an only child, can you tell?

Then I had to take a picture of my new jar for my hot cocoa mix. I have a wonderful recipe for homemade cocoa that a dear friend gave me and so now I have tasty hot cocoa mix ready to go and in that jar, who wouldn't want a cup?

Then on this particular day, I was working in the office area and glanced over at Max and clearly he was pooped from his very busy morning of playing with his toys that he ever so neatly placed by the side of his bed. No, I did not arrange them. He saw me looking at him but never even lifted his head as I grabbed my camera. Love that dog!

Then, here is a picture of me with my little Alex on Valentines Day. The only thing he ever wants is Transformers. So, every gift I buy him has something to do with Transformers right now. I never know which one he already has or which ones he simply does NOT want. However, today, I hit the jackpot! He opened it and with excitement said, "Aww man, this is the one I wanted!" Whew! Thank goodness.
Well, there's just a few days of my 365 project. I'd like to see some of yours if any of you are joining the challenge!

  2. Ok, I LOVE those day sticker things!!! I'm gonna be a copy cat and see if I can go find them! :-) Maybe that's what I will work on tomorrow...It seems lately like I have so much to do and so little day. :-) I'll post some updates once I get everything semi organized! Very cute post!

  3. How did I know Kristi was going to want one just like it! I love the simplicity of this project. Max gives new meaning to the phrase, it's a dog's life... poor puppy! Love you!

  4. Sheri, I'm kinda impressed that you're so good at the boy thing. Ashley is definitely blessed to have you as a girl-mama, but I think it's awesome you know about cool guy-stuff.

We all need an Auntie ReRe! I didn't know how deprived I was until I started reading about your Auntie-ness. I want to copy-cat, too, and use those day stickers. Maybe you could post digital freebies and giveaways for all those who love you and were deprived of an Auntie ReRe growing up. That would be GOOD therapy! :D xoxo
