Been away....

I know I've been away from the blog for a few days. But I just haven't had it in me to post anything in the last few days. On Wednesday, we received some sad news about a dear friend who passed away early that morning. It was a shock and totally unexpected. He was only 37 years old and left behind a wife and young kids. It has left us feeling somewhat numb and dazed. In the grand scope of things, what I might have shared here seemed so trivial and unimportant at a time like this. So I just didn't have it in my heart to seem to share anything.
