The Twinery and Stamps of Life Blog Hop

Are you ready for some fun?
Design Teams are playing together for this hop!

You should have arrived from Jenny Suchin's blog.  If you just happened to land here, you will want to start at the beginning at The Twinery blog so you don't miss anything.

There are prizes involved so make sure you go all the way to the end of the post for the details.

And now, onto the project!
For my stamp set I used the "Holly 4 Christmas" stamp set from Stamps of Life. I loved the cute string of lights and holly berries. I love the quality of the stamps. I've had several sets from The Stamps of Life and they are wonderful to work with and stamp so well.

I also used The Twinery's Peapod and Maraschino twine.
My favorites for traditional holiday crafts!

I recently placed an order from Hipstamatic for some prints and when I received them, they came in this cool little kraft pocket envelope.

I just thought it was the coolest little envelope so I hung onto it sure that I would find a use for it.  Well I decided to use it for this project. I thought it would be a great card to give a CD in....the size is perfect!

I first opened it up completely, taking care not to tear where it was glued.
Then I traced it on my cardstock.  Since it was longer than my paper I had to do it in two sections.

Then I cut it out, folded it and glued it to match the original package.

Here is my finished project:

I thought it made the perfect CD holder for some holiday music sharing!

This is the final stop on the hop.
I hope you enjoyed the hop with The Twinery and Stamps of Life!
Don't forget the prize details below!
