Project Life ~ Week 8

So week 8 was a big week!  I had my full spread and then two separate inserts.  I love adding the inserts for the special days or events that I want to highlight more of.

As always, I'll share my full spread just as it is when you open to week 8.  My inserts are always a smaller size than the 12x12.  I like to have the inserts sandwiched in between the two 12x12 pages. Just makes sense to me so it's clearly within that week.

And here is my first insert.  Wanted to document an easy family dinner we shared on Sunday.

Then this insert was to capture a fun girls day out with my daughter. We took a day together and went to antique and thrift stores all day.  We met my mom for lunch in between. It was such a fun day and we found so many good treasures that I wanted to get in.  I used the coin protector which allowed me to get a lot of 2x2 prints! Perfect!  

Then I wanted to be able to add some journaling so I used a 4x6 flip pocket (see here) and stitched it down the side on the coin protector so it would flip out.  Then I used the back to type my journaling. Love how it turned out!
