"Back to School" ~ The Cut Shoppe

Happy Saturday! Today I have layout up on The Cut Shoppe blog using some brand new files just released this past Thursday. These are perfect for all those back to school photos. I used the "School Rules" and the "Scribble Scrabbles" sets on my layout.

Here is my layout. I created this using photos of my two nieces who just started back to school. I used the Scribble Scrabbles files as frames for my photos. I added a library pocket with a shipping tag which has my journaling. I wanted to tell the story of the girls being so excited because they were featured on the local evening news with the superintendent of schools (shown in the middle photo) about kids heading back to school. My older niece, Brooklin, kept going around saying "We're famous!" Certainly a memory worth capturing!

Here is a close up of the "Back To School" cut out. I chose to back it with black so it would pop off the page. I also ended up using this as my title.

Here's a close up of the frame. Check out that pencil! Isn't that the cutest? That is in the "School Rules" set. I simply cut it on white cardstock and painted it to give it a pencil look. I love it!
