"Just get me to school already...."

Here is my picture of the day for yesterday. Angela had asked me if I could take Alex to school for her on Monday and Tuesday. Of course, I said sure! Well, Monday I took him and he was so cute in his little jacket and backpack and can you believe I missed the photo opportunity. I was so mad at myself all day for missing that. Well, I was determined to make up for it on Tuesday and get my "photo of the day".

So this is it! Isn't he just so cute? Now keep in mind, he's getting in the truck and I'm standing with the door open taking pictures in freezing cold temperatures, like 20 degrees! And Alex was so sweet to just smile and make Aunt Re Re happy. But the following pictures could not go without sharing.

I almost picked this one for my picture of the day just because I love the close up of his sweet little man face.

And even though you can't see much of him in this picture, I love the rear-view mirror shot. I think he was beginning to think his Aunt Re Re was crazy at this point!

And then....the smile starts dwindling down.....

And the final look ...."Can you just stop taking pictures and get me to school already???"

This kid stole my heart all over again just watching him get out of the truck and walk his little man body into his school. I love being Aunt Re Re!

  1. Ah, Auntie... I think the sun was in his eyes. He probably loves posing for you. All that candy in his early years paid off! He is looking so grown up and so much like his momma in these pictures. nice shots!

  5. How cute - Alex is growing so much! He is a handsome little man (Mahala still says that's her boyfriend, she gets so excited every time she sees pics of him!) Good job Aunt Re Re! It's ok, I get those kind of looks from my kids all the time...one day they will thank me for all the wonderful memories.
