Scrap Swap

I recently opted to take part in a scrap swap. What is that? Well on one of the scrapping message boards that I frequent, the members were having a scrap swap. So, basically, one would gather some of their scrap stash, scraps or new, and put together a kit for another person, so they could take that kit and put together a scrapbooking page or two. As you sign up, it basically becomes a circle, I send one to one person, the next person sends one to me, and so forth. I think you get the idea.

Well, I've never participated in this kind of thing before. I usually just hang out in the shadows and don't really get involved or make my presence known. But I thought, hey, why not have a little fun. I have to tell you, I have had so much fun putting the kit together. I haven't scrapbooked in quite a while....not since Christmas. So it got me in to my supplies, going through things I forgot I have. Just touching and matching things was great. Kind of got me in the mood again and started the fever! So I'm going to take some time and enjoy my scrapping self!
