I recently bought some gift cards as gifts and was having trouble just throwing them in a card and didn't want to get one of those store bought gift card holders so I came up with my own creation! I decided to make my own personalized gift card holder.

This one I tucked into a cute makeup bag with some other girlie goodies!

And this one I just tacked to the inside left of a card I was mailing.

I loved the personal touch it gave the gift cards. It was very simple to make and took me just a few minutes. I just used a coin envelope as my pattern (perfect size) and traced it onto the paper of my choice and embellished! Voila! A cute gift card holder with a personal touch!

Now, I'm out the door to spend a day with my husbands parents for his dad's birthday! I guess if that's all they ask, must be a sign they want to see us more! Hmmm....
