In the Swing of Things

I've finally had some time to get some scrapping done! I've been getting pictures printed and ready to go. Seems that finding the photos has become the biggest problem for me. Oh, not that they're in short supply, (last count was about 45,000 pics on my external drive). But I seem to have a problem getting them off my hard drive and actually printed into photos! So when I do have a few minutes to scrap here and there, I have no photos! And for me, that is where I start.

So I've changed my workflow! I am now dedicating a certain amount of time each week to just do photo editing and uploading the photos I want to scrap. That's what I spent some time doing yesterday and now I have a stack of photos just ready to grab and get started on! Hmmm, why didn't I think of this before? I'm sure it's not that big of a revelation to anyone else, since it seems like common sense but for some reason, a big light just went off in my head!

Anyway, I worked on this layout last night and for some reason I just really like it. First of all, the subject is adorable! I love this little girl. She has such a special place in my heart, just like all my kids do. But she is so quirky and fun, just carefree! I love her spirit.
