Remember these?

Do you remember these glasses? I do. We had some just like this when I was a kid only they were dark green. They have the ridges on the sides with the little pedastal base. I've even seen them use these same, now vintage, glasses on episodes of "Friends" because when I saw them I got so excited because we used to have the same ones.

Well, when were at Rick's parents for Fourth of July, she took me to a little curio cabinet where she had different dishes and knick-knacks. She said she was getting rid of the cabinet and everything in it and did I see anything I might be interested in. Well, I really wanted the dish with the rooster lid but she said she was keeping that, (jk :>) I found this set of glasses on the bottom shelf. I couldn't pass them up, there's a complete set of eight with a matching pitcher! Everytime I look at them it takes me back to my childhood, when we would use those big green glasses while eating dinner (at the table, I might add!) together as a family. Just makes me feel good!
