Awesome 80's!
Ok, I know you would never have believed it, but yes, I was alive and well in the 80's! This week's challenge at Scrap Tiffany is to create a layout on the 80's. Well, I have to say, this was a fun one for me. My photos from this time are still packed away from moving, so I wasn't able to use my photos (thank God!) So I went a different direction by highlighting some of the 80's culture!
Now, as bad as I had to admit it, my teen years were in the 80's so I remember all of these things well. The big hair (yes.....I did!). The leg warmers, shirts off the shoulder, Wham!, Rubik's cubes, Atari games, hightop Reeboks, ghetto blasters. Oh and don't forget, the Luke and Laura saga on General Hospital. I was sooo wrapped up in that. All of it represents the 80's!

You've got to go check out the other designers pages. They are great! Some were babies and some, like me, were in their teens. They're so fun to look at! You can see them here.
Have a great day!
I love this LO. It has sooo much life to it. I love the colors, especially for that time. Great take on this challenge.
ReplyDeleteOh Sheri, I am ROFL at your Aquanet picture. Hilarious. You hit so many of my 80's memories and your doodling is perfect for a teen themed layout. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis was the coolest. It reminded me of what I would have doodled on my PeeChee folder...remember those!
