Let It Snow!

In light of the snow day today and wintery weather pretty much all over, I thought I'd share my latest creation with you. I used a piece of cardboard that came in a package I received recently. It already had the circle cut in the middle and it just screamed to me for alterations!

I cut the big snowflake using my Cricut. Added paints and lots of bling. I wish the photo would have turned out a little better but I haven't had much choice in the good lighting around here lately.....things have been cloudy and dark! But here it is anyway.....

I added a couple layers of the Shimmerz paint on the snowflake.
I love the way the glitter just glistens in the light.

I painted a coat of white paint on the cardboard, added some more Shimmerz paint over the top for the glittery effect. I also painted Hi-Ho Silver Shimmerz paint over the blue letters for added bling.


I made the flower using patterned paper and added Shimmerz paint in Hi-Ho Silver as well. I added snow around the cardboard and lots of gems and bling.

Have a wonderful snow day and bundle up by the fire for a wonderful afternoon! Think I'll scrap a little.....in my newly organized and cleaned out scrap space! I'll share pics soon!
