Week 1 Challenge!

Can you believe we're in 2010 already? I remember as a kid, everyone talking about 2010 being so far in the future. We were thinking we'd be the Jetsons going around in our rocket vehicles flying through space from one high tech house to the other. Well maybe we haven't advanced that far yet but things sure have changed a lot! Hope you're enjoying your New Year and making it count!

Speaking of a new year, ScrapTiffany has a brand new design team starting this week! It's so exciting to see all of the great talent there and I'm so happy I get to be a part of such a fun team. Go over to ScrapTiffany and check them out as Tiffany will be introducing them all week!

This week's challenge is also posted. The challenge is creating a layout based on "the one thing I can't live without". As I started this challenge, I had all these things coming to mind......my coffee, my scrap tools, my camera, my computer..... But then I realized that I really could live without all of those things and decided to take a more serious route and scrap my layout about the one "person" I would not want to go through life without and that is my wonderful husband. I love our life together! We are best friends and have more fun together than with anyone else. Our daughter is grown and getting married this year and it will be just us alone....again! And you know what, we're kind of excited about that new chapter. I'm so glad we focused so much on our marriage and getting along as our daughter was growing up, because now, it's going to be just us again, and we actually still like each other!!! So, there you have my take on the challenge.

Why don't you try to join in? It's so much fun to scrap something that I might not otherwise scrap about. You can join in and email your layout to Tiffany!

Have a great day! We're off to do some shopping with the family. And get this....we're taking my 85 year old grandmother to get her nose pierced! How crazy is that? She has been insisting on wanting to get it done and we can't put her off anymore! I'll definitely be taking some pictures of that!
