Many of you know my daughter is getting married the end of this year. Well, she has a friend in California that she wanted to ask to be her bridesmaid. However, she didn't want to just pick up the phone and ask her. She wanted to think of a special way to do it, even though it was long distance. She made up the cutest card and even handmade the gift box, shipped it to her with a note not to open it until she called her. So, she was on the phone when her friend opened the box asking her to be her bridesmaid! Very cute. And I was so proud of her creation that I wanted to share it with you. She did it all herself with very little help from me (other than my supplies! LOL).
She made the box out of Bazzill Swiss Dot cardstock. She used Glimmer Mist with a Tattered Angels screen on the front of the box. I think she used Marshmallow mist, so the light color is the misting and the darker turquoise is the actual color of the paper. I think she snuck into my Elle's Studio products...see that cute little label?

When she picks up the paper and supplies and rocks it in her own way, it makes me proud! Like mother, like daughter! Anyway, I thought she did a great job on it! Her girlfriend loved it! And by the way....she screamed, "Yes!"Have a great day!

So adorable. Ash it's so cute. You did an amazing job. I love the way you scrap. I just wish you would be blogging your wedding planning days so we can all see what you're doing.
ReplyDeleteI saw this card and box in person and the pictures do not do it justice. They're both gorgeous.
I love you and wish I could be there with you to plan your special day.
