I'm trying not to feel too bad about it because we took a much needed break with our family who was visiting from California. We haven't seen them in six months so we took every available minute with them. We had such a great time with them. I miss everyone so much.
Brooklin was so excited about watering my flowers on the patio. That became our morning ritual, every morning....."Aunt Sheri, c'mon, I have to water the flowers!" I loved it!
She would pour the water and as she was pouring I could hear her saying, "There you go flowers, here's some water for you." It was so stinkin' cute! I love that girl. She is so special and has such a great personality. While they were here we hit the local flea market. Wow! How fun was that! I just had to show you what my sister found for me!
I loved, loved, loved these things! I had seen a little red ladder like this a couple years ago in a little store in a small town when Rick and I had gone away for a few days and I was so upset with myself for not getting it. In fact, it wasn't too long before this picture that I had again been thinking about that little red ladder and how cute it would look in my scrap space. And then, voila, here she came across the parking lot with it. And the red caddy....I have been wanting one to put all my scrap tools in just because I love anything red and I love that it's old and a tool caddy. So she found both for me in one day and came up to the car saying, "Look what I got for you!". She's the best sister....I love her!
At the same time, Ashley found this old style phone. She'd been wanting one for a while and looking at them. They found this one for a steal. It's like brand new and works! Of course, T spoiled her and bought it for her.So we have had a great week and few days. It makes me miss them all the more now though. But we had fun and I know we'll see each other again. So now, I'll get back to my regular blog updates! See you soon!

Omg them being here felt so right. All of us girls being together was so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWe had a blast. Being away from each other just gives new meaning to "family". It's just not as easy to take it for grated anymore. We never thought we would be apart again.
ReplyDeleteI love that phone, the ring is so cool. It rings like a bell, just like the old ones really used to.
Well, sis..I know you loved the ladder and caddy, but don't forget you were getting frustrated with me and Ash taking so long to get to the car. LOL!!! You really got bent when you saw me carrying them to the car thinking I bought them for myself. Then you felt bad when I said they were yours.
Anyway, I do love them as well, but they just had your name all over them. So enjoy!!! Just thought I would remind you of that. love ya!!! Oh yea!!! You didn't post anything about your songwriting talent. You know, the song titled, "Around this Town". It's amazing, You should record it and post it.
Oh wait!!! Did I hear someone say we did record it??? haha!!!
We'll see!!! lv ya!!!
Ok T- you noticed I did leave a portion of the story out about the ladder and caddy! Ooops I must have forgotten about that! As far as the song goes, you know what they say... "What happens in Nashville, stays in Nashville!!!"
ReplyDeleteWe love and miss you guys.
Well, I think the video is still in Nashville...so yes I agree it should stay in Nashville..or at least only added to the blog that is housed in Nashville.
ReplyDeleteLoL..I don't think Ang would actually do it...what do you thk?
Oh Lord! I hope not!
ReplyDeleteOk, just reading these comments...Hmmm....What do you think T, should I do it? I still have it, it's on my camera but I will tear thru boxes looking for the cord. LOL. I think it's hilarious. It would be a great post! I mean, I don't think very many people look at my blog, but the ones who do would get a kick out of it!
ReplyDeleteAng! Stop, you don't need her influence! Be strong, hold it close and protect it!
