Welcome! I'm so glad you stopped by for the Scrap Tiffany blog hop! What fun we're having! If you just happened to pop in on my blog, you'll definitely want to start from the beginning so you don't miss out on a thing. You can start the beginning of the blog hop here.
You've probably figured by now that we're celebrating the one year anniversary of Scrap Tiffany! Our theme for the blog hop is parties! Come on in and join my party!
You've probably figured by now that we're celebrating the one year anniversary of Scrap Tiffany! Our theme for the blog hop is parties! Come on in and join my party!

Now the first thing for planning any party are the invitations. I knew exactly how I wanted the invitations to be. I wanted the wings to open to reveal the party info. This is what I came up with.

I started with cutting out the shapes for the ladybug. Here is the pattern....
You can download the pattern for yourself by clicking here. I then ran them through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folders. I love the look it adds.
Then just using all the paper pieces, assembled the invitations using a brad to hold the wings on and added the antennas using black pipe cleaner.I love the look of the coffee filter flowers. So I got this idea to try to make ladybugs out of them. This was my first time trying them and they were so easy and so fun to make. If you need a great tutorial on making these, check out this one from the oh so fabulous Rhonna Farrer.

So I made the coffee filter flowers, I sprayed them with red Glimmer Mist all over and let them dry. I punched round circles for the spots and added black pipe cleaners for the antennas.
Attached them to black tulle (my favorite stuff ever!) added some bling and I had my very own ladybug banner.

I thought the cutest addition to the party theme would be the ladybug cupcakes! I was so pleased with how these turned out. They were very easy once we figured out the frosting situation (thanks Mom)! Some red and black food coloring, M&M's, black licorice and you've got some of the cutest ladybug cupcakes!

My favor buckets were the easiest! I used the little galvanized buckets that I found really inexpensive at Michaels and used my Crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the front, attached a ladybug with a brad. Then I filled it with goodies in red tissue paper.

Very easy to do! I created the pattern, printed it out and cut it up! Quick and oh so easy!
You can download it for free by clicking here!

Here's the pattern......
You can download it for free by clicking here! Then the last thing that I added to my party was this cute little lollipop tree! Not really much to do with ladybugs but I thought it was so cute and what kid doesn't like lollipops?

I hope you've enjoyed my party stop! With the patterns you've downloaded and ideas, you can have your party in no time! It was really a very easy party to assemble. You can even add a lot more fun if you choose too!
Now for the fun part.....A GIVEAWAY! I'll be giving away one of Scrap Tiffany's awesome kits! You can get the recipe book kit featuring the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird line. Just leave me a comment and I'll be announcing the winner on Monday!
