Tutorial Tuesday!

Today is Tutorial Tuesday at ScrapTiffany and guess who was on for today? Aww, you guessed! Yep, it's me!

Sometimes I have a hard time deciding on what to do tutorials on because I think of something and then think, "Oh, they've already seen that" or "What can I show that they don't already know or that they want to know." And then I pull my head out and say that doesn't really matter, just share what I do know and have fun! So that's what I'm doing.

I think that's one part of this hobby that seems to affect many. It's that we don't feel like our stuff we create is good enough or that we don't want to share what we do because it doesn't look right and may not have been picked for the latest magazine or design team! It can leave us feeling less than good about ourselves and that's not what this hobby is all about! I know I have felt it and so I know others have too.

The thing we have to remember is to be true to your creative self! Just flow with what you like. Everyone is created individually, no one person is the same, so our creations shouldn't be the same! Just let go and create! Don't be boxed into creating something that is not you and don't be boxed into feeling like your creations are inferior to others. They're not! They are original and that is what makes creations stand out! Have to say, I'm still working on it myself!
