I haven't blogged in a few days, I know. I've had an extremely busy week and it's all good! I love when things are busy and full of activity! If you hadn't noticed, I'm very excited about the new addition coming to our family in March so everytime I go anywhere, it's off to the baby section! It's been over 5 years since our last baby in the family so we are all more than ready!
This week's challenge is up at ScrapTiffany. This week's challenge is to create a layout on an all star in your life. I decided to do the layout on the biggest star of my life and that's my hubby. For some reason, he hasn't made it on to too many of my layouts and I don't know why 'cuz personally, I think he's kinda cute! He is my All-Star and I wanted to show him off this week!

Now I do have to tell you that I was extremely unhappy with this layout after I finished. I kept looking at it and I just wasn't happy with it. For one thing, every time I looked at it, I kept seeing, "Y'all" screaming at me in the title! Not the feel I was going for. I sent it off to Tiffany because I had reached the deadline and just couldn't work on it anymore. I am normally not one to redo pages. I do them and then move on but I just couldn't let this one go. The Yall really got to me. So I just took a few minutes to make some changes and additions and voila, version 2 is done.
Not a big difference but at least now I see "My All" and not "Y'all". LOL! Then added a few blings here and there and I'm calling it done!

ReplyDeleteOhhhh SHERI! First I came to thank you for leaving a comment on my bamboo placemat album and was soo happy that it inspired you...then you made me cry!!! I gotta be the biggest cry-baby ever and I LOVE it when a layout touches my heart and makes me cry...this did that when I read your journaling!! Sooo beautifly done. I am soo happy that I have found your blog it feeds my soul!

ReplyDeleteI have to agree...your dh is kind of cute! I have never done a layout about just my husband. I have him and the kids and I have done maybe 2 about us. Bt none of just him. I think this is my next page!!!
