How much is too much?

Well, I couldn't take it any longer. I decided I needed to clean out and organize my scrap area which is also my office area. The two were running into each other. I have recently bought some new scrap supplies and have been consistently adding to my stash however I still had more than I could use so my new stuff found itself in a basket on the floor. Now it's an adorable black basket with a black and white damask liner.....oh wait, getting off track here....anyway, in a basket! So I finally decided I need to purge some old supplies that I have that I'm not using.

I'm embarrassed to say, I have so much paper. This huge stack is what I'm getting rid of! I still have about 7 Cropper Hoppers full along with some other specialty papers that I have in other holders. My husband is so sweet. He said, "Well why don't you just let me pack it away in a box for you and then you'll have it if you need it?" ENABLER!!! As sweet as that sounds, I had to tell him NOOOO! I must purge and get rid of. So, I have a few people in mind and then I'll be passing on to our Children's Department at church, or school or somewhere! I have plenty to go around!

I feel better already just getting rid of those. Some of this paper, I have had for years, believe it or not. When I was grabbing those huge paper packs at Michaels every chance I got! Why? Did I really think I was going to use 8 pieces of grass-pictured paper?

I seriously hope my mother does not read this post because she'd be screaming right about now, "Do you know how much money you have tied up in all that paper? I wouldn't just get rid of it! Keep it, you might use it!" Sorry Mom, if you're reading this, I love you but I'm not keeping it...if you want it you can come and get it!

I think my day is done! Yes, it's 2 am and I'm ready for bed! Happy organizing!
