Scrap lift challenge

This week's challenge is posted at ScrapTiffany. This week we're scraplifting! Choose either a technique or even an actual layout to scraplift. I chose a beautiful layout from my girl, Leslie Ashe. I love Leslie's style! Her layouts are so colorful and are like eye candy to me. Go check out her blog, you'll see what I mean! The girl can rock a layout!

I love how Leslie handwrites her journaling on most all of her layouts but to be honest it scares the heebie-jeebies outta me! My thinking is that I get a layout almost completely done and then I write on it? What if I mess it up? What if I don't like the way my writing looks? But then I look at her pages and it's like a part of her is on that page. Not just that she created them but her words in her handwriting and I love that. So I tried it and guess what? I love the way it turned out! Think I'm going to have to try that more.
