Bringing brads back....

This week's challenge for Scrap Tiffany is to pull out all those old brads and eyelets that you haven't used in forever! You know the ones....hiding in the back of your embellishment drawer or box....the ones you still can't part with....

I decided to do a canvas project using some old antique brads from Making Memories. I used to love these brads and used them a lot. I actually still like the looks of them although I never use them!

Supplies Used:
Gesso: Golden
Stamps: Woman Collage/Passport (Hampton Art), Faded Text Background (Stampabilities)
Mist: Tattered Angels in Golden Terracotta, Haunted Shadow, Sunflower, Tattered Leather
Inks: Distress Ink in Vintage Photo, Liquitex Acrylic Ink
Flower & Leaves: Prima
Metal Tag, Glitter Leaf, Antique Copper Brads: Making Memories
Tag: Moment to Remember Tags by Elles Studio
Other: feathers, hot glue.

This little canvas started as a bright yellow canvas with a white pattern on it. I found it in the dollar bins at Michaels. I grabbed a few because I knew I could use them for something!

I recorded a video of my creation process putting this together. There are no words, just music because I was working on it while my family was home....I usually have to record when they are gone! But there is some music for you to enjoy and I added captions showing the steps in my process. It's about 16 minutes long, just to warn you....I tried to capture the entire process. Watch all or even just part of it if you choose! I hope you enjoy it!

Go over to Scrap Tiffany and take a look at the other designers layouts and projects. Then create your project or layout and email it to Tiffany! We want to see how you bring brads back!

Have a great day!
