So, anyone who knows me knows I love to shop! What woman doesn't, right?
Have you seen the new IKEA commercial? The one where the man and son are working in their front yard, when all of a sudden the huge delivery truck loaded with crates comes barreling over the driveway onto the grass, wiping out the mailbox in the process.....the man and son are bewildered as the wife jumps from the truck, screaming, "They were having a sale! I'm going back for more!" as she runs off. Well, my future son-in-law saw that for the first time and was cracking up laughing, saying "That looks like something you guys would do!" referring to me and every other woman in my family! (Yeah, we're debating whether or not to let him into the family....it's not too late ya know! LOL)
I'll stop my rambling and get to the point! Being a shopper and a scrapper, I know that scrappers and crafters make the BEST shoppers! I love to see what other people are buying and what kind of specials they find. So I thought I would start sharing some of my finds with you. I have made my first video of which I hope to create a series just sharing buys with you, items I've found on sale, or just fun things I have purchased. I love seeing that from people. Maybe it's just my nosey side coming out....you know, the one that likes to drive around at dusk just so I can see inside homes to see how they're decorated. (I know, sounds like a pitiful perv doesn't it?) Please, I know I can't be the only one!
So, here's my first video of "Shopping with Sheri". I'd love your feedback! Tell me if you enjoy it, if you think it's stupid, if you think nobody really gives a rip! Give it to me! I can handle it!

I happen to love this idea for a couple of reasons...
ReplyDelete#1. It's always fun to see what people buy.(We usually want to see inside stranger's bags at the stores if something looks exciting sticking out of the bag. We say"ooh,what is that, that lady has? lol!
#2. I feel like I'm out shopping with my Sis instead of shopping alone 2000 miles away from you. And I can see what you bought.hehe!
I think you should take the camera with you inside the stores. I know people would completely enjoy seeing the fun the women in our family have when we shop.LOL!
So my opinion is...I love it! Keep it up!
i really like this idea! In future videos I would also love to see the pricing for items. I always get excited when I see things but then get disappointed if I go to the store and realize it is too much for me to spend! I love hearing about sales, deals and discounts!
