Art Journaling Class Update

I thought it was about time that I give you an update on my Art Journaling 301 class I'm currently enrolled in with the uber talented Dina Wakley! Can I just say, I am loving this class.

This is from lesson two where we were learning to use stencils and inks. I loved it. Who knew plain old letter and circle stencils from the art department could be so fun!

Now, lesson 3 is where more fun happens! We are creating our add-ins for our journal. We're stencilling, inking and paint splattering text pages, tags and scraps of watercolor paper. Then after they all dry, you begin assembling them by stapling the scraps and tags to the text paper. These will all be added in our journal.
Doesn't it just look soooo yummy! You should see my dining room table! It has been transformed into an art studio. Covered with sheets of paper covering my work surface and color, color, everywhere! Hubby made the comment about me taking over more of the house with my scrapping and "stuff". What??? Stuff? This is ART baby! Thank goodness he really doesn't mind. I suppose I'll have to clean it all up eventually but for right now.....it'll have to wait! Hhmmm, now for that art/scrap room.....perfect opportunity to ask!

Oh, I almost forgot! I have something to tell you......
