Hello Monday! It's time again for this week's challenge at ScrapTiffany. This week is to use the color "green". May not seem like a big deal to some but green is my least favorite color to work with. But that's one reason why I love Tiffany's challenges is that they get me out of my box and push me to work with things I wouldn't normally use or do. Here's my layout.
I love these pictures of my niece Brooklin. A couple of years ago, my sister bought her these green froggy rain boots and she loves them! Thank goodness they still had them available after she grew out of her first pair. She had to go buy her another pair in a bigger size! She calls them her goolashes. I wish you could know Brooklin personally. She has such a great personality and is quite the quirky little girl. She is very much a tomboy and can take on her 7 year old brother with no problem! Last night when she went to bed, she told her mom she was going to get in her shell and go to sleep....not quite sure what that means but probably something to do with the baby snails she just played with on Thanksgiving day! She loves marine animals too. She loves going to the Aquarium and loves anything with fish. She know the difference between her sea life stuffed animals and her regular stuffed animals. When she goes to bed, she can't mix her regular stuffed animals with her sea life stuffed animals because those "can't breathe in water". So she throws all the others out of her bed except the sea life stuffed animals. See what I mean? She's quite hilarious!

Ok, sorry, got a little sidetracked......here it is!

I love some of the packaging that my supplies come in. Like the green backing on the Prima products. I used a portion of it for my journaling. It's already scallopped and has the scroll leaf detaling. Now off to finish (or should I say start) Christmas decorating. We're very behind this year....we're usually completely done before Thanksgiving, so I have a lot to get accomplished!
And if I could just fit some time in to finish my December Daily, I'll share that soon too!
Don't forget to hop over to ScrapTiffany to check out the other designers layouts! They're all great!
Have a great Monday!

Very cute layout!!
ReplyDeleteI 2nd the personality of that girl, she's mine! haha!
She is quite the quirky little tomboy. She hates pink and is very quick to tell you, or yell it at you as she told our pastor's wife she didn't like the pink shirt she was wearing one day. oopps!!
She is not a brat, just knows quite well, what she likes and doesn't like.
BTW, going into her shell is like the snail or turtle. When she played with the baby snail at Thksgv. she tried to pull his body out of the shell so he would sit on the flower petal, well, it didn't work that well. So she kissed him and put him back on the ground. She can gross out the boys most times.
Lv that girl!!
Great layout of her, sis!!
